Walking across U Bein's Bridge is an absolute must for every traveller to Myanmar. Beforehand, I agreed with a man in a boat that he would row me back, allowing good views at the bridge from the water. When I stepped on the bridge, I spread my arms, looked into the sky and called: Yes! I'm here! I'm on the bridge! Perhaps some people may have looked strange at me, but it was my cry of happiness. I loved every metre of it, didn't mind the hot burning sun, this is simply awsome. The way back was even more relaxed and certainly cooler, but walking yourself is unbeatable.
